The facility operates on the basis of the applicable regulations governing medical activity and the maintenance of medical records.
Scope of healthcare services
The facility provides residential addiction treatment services, including in particular:
- medical qualification prior to admission to treatment
- detoxification conducted under physician supervision
- 24-hour nursing care
- psychiatric care
- addiction psychotherapy
- treatment of co-occurring disorders
- planning of further care after completion of the residential stay
The scope and form of treatment are determined individually on the basis of the patient’s current health condition and the applicable medical standards.
Clinical standards
The treatment process is conducted in accordance with current medical knowledge and the principles governing the practice of physicians and other medical professions.
Clinical decisions are made by authorised medical personnel on the basis of:
- assessment of somatic and mental condition,
- analysis of treatment history,
- risk of withdrawal-related complications,
- co-occurring mental or somatic disorders.
Residential treatment is intended for patients who require medical stabilisation and clinical supervision.
Safety procedures
In order to ensure patient safety, the following procedures are in place:
- 24-hour monitoring of health status,
- ongoing assessment of withdrawal symptoms,
- access to medical consultation,
- implementation of appropriate measures in emergency situations,
- monitoring and documentation of the course of treatment.
In cases requiring hospital treatment or urgent emergency intervention, the patient may be referred to an appropriate medical entity with the necessary clinical resources.
Care model and clinical responsibility
Treatment is provided within a 24-hour medical care model, including:
- ongoing assessment of somatic and mental condition
- monitoring of withdrawal symptoms
- adjusted pharmacotherapy
- clinical decisions made by authorised medical personnel
Responsibility for the treatment process rests with the clinical team operating within the medical entity, in accordance with the applicable laws and professional standards. Treatment provided at the facility does not replace psychiatric hospitalisation or specialist treatment requiring hospital infrastructure, where such treatment is indicated.
Medical records and confidentiality
The facility maintains medical records in accordance with the applicable legal regulations.
Information concerning patients’ health status is subject to professional confidentiality and is protected as special category data.
Medical data are not disclosed to third parties without a legal basis or the patient’s explicit consent, except in situations provided for by law.
Insurance and safety
The medical entity holds mandatory civil liability insurance as required by law.
Internal safety procedures include access control to medical records, protection of IT systems, and organisational measures for data protection.
