Most people entering treatment step out of their lives for a month. A chief executive, a managing partner or a surgeon cannot. Boards meet, deals close, patients are scheduled, and an unexplained absence generates questions that no confidentiality policy can contain. Executive rehab exists because that constraint is real, not because a wealthier patient wants a better room.
Our programme is delivered at a private clinic outside Warsaw, in the European Union, 10 km from the city centre and a short drive from an international airport. For patients travelling from the United States, Canada or Australia, the distance is the point: there is no possibility of encountering a colleague, a client or a journalist in the corridor.
Who the programme is built for
We run this programme for a narrow group. Rehab for executives and senior professionals differs from standard residential treatment in what it has to protect, not in the medicine it delivers.

People whose absence is itself material information. Where a listed company is involved, the question is not only privacy but disclosure, and the timing of treatment has to be planned around it.

Regulated professions where addiction carries licensing consequences alongside clinical ones. Rehab for professionals in these fields has to account for the regulatory body as well as the patient.

Where the business has no depth of management, four weeks away is not a scheduling problem but an operational risk. The programme is built to keep a controlled channel open.

People recognised by a wide public, and relatives of those in public office, for whom the smallest leak means immediate and uncontrolled distribution of the information.
Working during treatment: what is possible and what is not
This is the first question we are asked, and the honest answer has two halves.
What is possible: a dedicated workspace with secure connectivity, set hours for correspondence and calls, and scheduling built around a time zone that is not ours. A patient from New York can hold a morning call at nine their time without it colliding with therapy.
What is not possible: running an organisation from a treatment room. The first week of any executive detox and stabilisation is clinically incompatible with decision-making, and we will say so. The scope of contact is agreed individually at admission and reviewed during the stay, because access to work supports the process in one phase and undermines it in another.
A patient who cannot step back at all is usually a patient who is not yet ready to begin. That conversation happens before admission, not after.
What executive addiction treatment includes
Executive addiction treatment here means the full clinical programme, not a shortened version arranged around a diary. Medically supervised detoxification where indicated, individual psychotherapy as the core of the programme rather than group work, psychiatric care for co-occurring conditions, and a discharge plan prepared before the stay ends.
Individual sessions, not groups
Several hours of one-to-one work a day. A group programme requires disclosing your situation to a room of strangers, which for this patient group is not a therapeutic exercise but an exposure.
Confidential rehab by structure
Confidential rehab is not a promise here but an arrangement: gated grounds, controlled access, alternative patient identification in internal communication, and individual confidentiality agreements signed by every member of staff.
No reporting to employers
We do not contact an employer, a board or a professional body. Information leaves this clinic only with the patient's written consent, and that includes confirming that a person is here at all.
A residence, not a facility
The residence covers 2,000 m² with nine bedrooms and seventeen bathrooms, and we admit a maximum of ten patients at a time. Space is generous; the number of people sharing it is not.
Why patients travel from the United States
An American executive choosing a domestic programme accepts a residual risk: the industry is small, treatment centres serve regional clienteles, and the person in the next chair may know someone you both know. Distance removes that risk entirely rather than managing it.
The second reason is cost. A four-week stay in a single room is €14,900, and a private apartment €29,900. That is a fraction of what comparable executive programmes cost in the United States, and the difference is not a difference in medicine. It reflects where the clinic operates, not what it delivers. What a week actually looks like
The most common misconception about executive rehab is that it is a rest. It is not. A patient arriving from months of chaotic use does not need more decisions to make, so sessions, meals, activity and rest fall at the same hours every day, and the structure is deliberately not negotiable. For someone whose working life consists of continuous decisions, handing that over for four weeks is itself part of the treatment.

Admission
The first conversation is confidential and carries no obligation. It may be a call, an email, or contact through a trusted adviser, a family office or a private health consultant acting on the patient's behalf. It is followed by an assessment with a consultant psychiatrist, remotely or in person, which establishes the clinical picture and the recommended length of stay.
Arrival is handled at our end. Patients are collected in an unmarked black S-Class, long wheelbase, with no clinic branding, and the driver is a member of our own medical staff rather than an external company, so nobody outside the clinic learns who was collected or where they were taken. Airport transfer is included from single room level upwards.
Where a patient arrives by private jet, the car meets the aircraft rather than waiting outside a terminal. Warsaw has two airports with business aviation facilities, and the clinic has a helipad, so the final stretch can be flown if a higher level of protection is required. Flight costs are arranged with the operator; the transfer at this end is not charged separately.
A companion can be accommodated at no additional charge in single rooms and apartments, provided the clinical team confirms their presence will not work against the treatment. Admission dates are set around the patient's circumstances, not around an intake schedule.

No. We do not contact an employer, a board or a regulator, and we do not confirm that a person is at the clinic. Information leaves here only with the patient's written consent. Every member of staff, clinical and non-clinical, signs an individual confidentiality agreement that remains binding after their employment ends.
Is treatment confidential if I hold a regulated professional licence?
Our obligations run to the patient, not to a licensing body. What a physician, lawyer or pilot must disclose to their own regulator is a question for their jurisdiction and their legal adviser, and we would recommend getting that advice before admission rather than after. We provide documentation at the patient's request and to nobody else.
