Rehab cost: our full published rates
How much does rehab cost is the first question we are asked, and most clinics publish no figure at all. We do. Below are the full rates for inpatient treatment at our clinic just outside Warsaw, in euro, with conversions into dollars and pounds. There is no admission fee, no charge for the assessment and no separate bill for the medical care.
The rates are divided into four parts: therapy for patients who are already sober and do not need detox, detox, which is priced by the number of nights, a separate rate for eating disorder treatment, and the rate for the whole house taken for one patient. Each part has its own table below.
Four weeks of therapy
These rates cover the therapy programme, which begins once the patient is sober. Anyone who arrives already abstinent starts here directly. Anyone still drinking or using starts with detox, priced separately below, and moves into therapy afterwards. Sobriety on admission to therapy is a condition, not a preference, because psychotherapy does not work through a withdrawal.
Shared room
€7,200 four weeks of therapy, all care included ≈ US$8,550≈ £6,200 A room with two other patients. The most accessible option, with exactly the same clinical programme as every other. Shared rooms are single sex.
Room for two
€9,900 four weeks of therapy, all care included ≈ US$11,500≈ £8,500 A room with one other patient. More space and quiet than the three-bed room, with an identical clinical programme.
Private room
€19,900 four weeks of therapy, all care included ≈ US$23,100≈ £17,100 A room of your own for the whole admission. The usual choice for patients who have to work during treatment or who need complete privacy. Airport transfer and accommodation for one companion are included.
Apartments: four weeks of therapy
The three apartments occupy the upper floor and are available for both detox and therapy. The rates below cover the four-week programme; detox in an apartment is in the table further down. Airport transfer and accommodation for one companion are included with every apartment.
Studio

The whole house for one patient
€369,900 per month, the entire property reserved, 20 staff for one patient ≈ US$429,100≈ £317,700 Where discretion has to be absolute, the house can be taken in full for one patient. Up to four companions can be accommodated, and the whole clinic works for one person: individual therapy several times a day, a doctor responsible for one patient rather than for a ward, nursing presence day and night, and observation shared with nobody. Detox rates
Detox is priced by the length of the admission, because that length is set by the substance and by the state of the patient, not by a package. The rate covers the same round-the-clock medical supervision in every option; only the room differs. Detox can take place in any room in the house, including the apartments. Where detox is followed by therapy, the four-week rates above apply from the day therapy begins.

Alcohol detox: 7 nights
Alcohol withdrawal has a predictable course. The dangerous window falls between the second and the fourth day, which is why the full week is spent under observation rather than ending as soon as the patient feels better. Where withdrawal is complicated - seizures or delirium in the history, or years of heavy drinking - the fourteen-night column applies.
Drugs and medication: 14 to 28 nights
Stimulants and opioids are usually over within two weeks. Benzodiazepines and prescription sedatives take longer, because the dose has to be reduced in steps rather than stopped.
Benzodiazepines together with opioids: 42 nights
The forty-two-night column is not for benzodiazepines or opioids on their own. It is for patients dependent on both at once, and that is a different and considerably harder problem: neither can be reduced quickly, and reducing one destabilises the other, so the two schedules have to be run against each other over weeks.
The length is a clinical decision
We give the expected range before admission, after the medical assessment, and we say so if it changes. Nothing reaches the invoice without that conversation happening first.
Eating disorder treatment: a separate rate
Anorexia, bulimia and binge eating disorder are treated in a separate programme, at a separate rate, and priced per week rather than in a four-week block. The length of an eating disorder admission is set by weight restoration and medical stability, not by a calendar, so we quote a weekly amount. The admission we accept is eight to ten weeks. Shorter admissions do not hold: weight restored in three or four weeks is lost again within months, and we would rather decline the admission than take a patient for a period we know will not work.
Room for two
€9,900 per week, the full eating disorder programme ≈ US$11,500≈ £8,500 A room with one other patient, which for some patients is an advantage rather than a compromise: eating beside somebody at the same stage of treatment is part of how the programme works.
Private room
€19,500 per week, the full eating disorder programme ≈ US$22,600≈ £16,750 A room of your own for the whole admission, with airport transfer and accommodation for one companion. Meals are still taken with the group, under supervision.
Studio
€29,900 per week, the full eating disorder programme ≈ US$34,700≈ £25,700 A self-contained apartment on the upper floor with its own sitting area. Meals are still taken and supervised downstairs, along with the rest of the programme.
Master

An eating disorder admission is priced for the whole course rather than week by week, and the amounts below are what eight and ten weeks actually come to. We give the expected length after the medical assessment and we say so if it changes, before the invoice does.

Eating disorder treatment is more expensive everywhere it is done properly, and the reason is staffing rather than surroundings. A patient with an addiction eats unsupervised. A patient with an eating disorder is accompanied at every meal, observed afterwards, and has bloods checked on a schedule through the first weeks, when the physical risk of feeding somebody who has been starving is highest. That work needs people in the house who are not part of a standard addiction team.
- A clinical dietitian who writes the individual meal plan, adjusts it as intake rises and works with the kitchen so that every plate matches the prescription.
- A doctor monitoring refeeding risk, with phosphate, potassium and magnesium checked regularly in the opening phase, alongside ECG for the bradycardia and rhythm disturbance that low body weight produces.
- A psychiatrist for the conditions that come with eating disorders in most patients: depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive symptoms and, in a proportion, self-harm.
- A psychotherapist trained specifically in eating disorders, working in the models that have evidence behind them.
- Nursing presence at meals and afterwards, three meals and three snacks a day, with observation after each, because the period after eating is when compensatory behaviour happens.
- A family therapist, because eating disorders are held in place by patterns at home more often than addiction is, and discharge without the family involved usually does not hold.
- A physiotherapist for compulsive exercise and for the muscle loss that follows prolonged restriction, so that movement is resumed under control.
- Dental and endocrine consultations where they are needed, for enamel damage after prolonged vomiting and for bone density and the hormonal consequences of prolonged low weight.
Meals are part of the treatment
Six eating occasions a day, each accompanied, each followed by a period of observation. This is the part of the programme that takes the most staff time and the part that cannot be reduced without the treatment ceasing to work.
The first weeks are the medically dangerous ones
Restoring nutrition in a severely underweight patient carries a risk of its own, and it is managed by feeding at a controlled rate with electrolytes monitored, not by feeding as much and as fast as possible.
Weighing follows a protocol
Weight is taken on a fixed schedule, under the same conditions each time, and whether the patient sees the number is a clinical decision taken with them at the start of the admission.
Eight to ten weeks, not four
Weight restoration and the psychological work that has to happen alongside it do not compress. Four weeks is enough to stabilise a patient medically and not enough to change anything about what caused the illness.
What every rate includes
A lower private rehab cost does not mean less care. The scope of clinical care does not change between the options. Alcohol rehab cost and drug rehab cost are the same at every level, because the difference is in the room and not in the medicine.
- A medical assessment before admission with a psychiatrist, remotely or in person, at no separate charge.
- Medically supervised detox where clinically indicated, including medication, monitoring of vital signs and nursing care around the clock.
- Individual psychotherapy as the core of the programme, several hours a day, rather than group sessions with the occasional one-to-one.
- Care from a doctor throughout the admission, with one doctor responsible for the course of treatment from admission to discharge. Where the clinical picture calls for it, this includes psychiatric care for accompanying conditions.
- All meals, laundry and accommodation for the full length of the admission.
- Accommodation for one companion in single rooms and apartments, at no extra charge, where the clinical team confirms it will not interfere with treatment.
- A discharge plan prepared before the admission ends, with continuing care coordinated in the patient’s own country.
What is not included
Flights to Poland
The patient arranges the flight. Airport transfer is included from the single room upwards; for shared rooms it is priced separately, as is collection from a private airfield.
Hospital treatment outside the clinic
If a patient’s condition during the admission requires hospital treatment, we hand them over to the hospital together with the full medical record. The cost of the hospital stay and of medical transport is billed by the hospital, not by us. We say so before admission, because it is the only situation in which the invoice comes from somebody else.
A second companion and family programmes
One companion is included in single rooms and apartments. A second person, and extended family programmes with therapeutic sessions of their own, are priced separately.
Specialist consultations outside our scope
Where a patient needs a specialist we do not have in the house, we arrange the consultation and bill it at cost. We say so before it happens, never afterwards.
How much does rehab cost elsewhere
Patients ask what rehab costs elsewhere, and the honest answer is that comparison is difficult, because most clinics quote only by telephone. What we can say is where the difference comes from.
Four weeks of inpatient treatment in a private clinic in the United States, the United Kingdom or Switzerland usually costs a multiple of the figures above. That difference reflects neither the standard of the medicine, nor the qualifications of the clinical team, nor the ratio of staff to patients. It reflects where the clinic operates. Our costs, from salaries to property, are those of Central Europe, and the saving goes to the patient rather than into the margin.
Payment and discretion
A companion may stay with the patient in single rooms and apartments, at no extra charge. Whether that happens is a clinical decision and not a booking one. The team confirms it before admission and can withdraw it during the admission if the presence of another person starts to work against the therapy, which happens in some family situations.
Airport transfer is included from the single room upwards. Patients are collected in an unmarked black long-wheelbase S-Class with no clinic branding of any kind. The driver is a member of our own medical staff rather than an outside company, so the patient is under clinical observation from the moment of collection and nobody outside the clinic learns who was collected or where they were taken.
Where a patient arrives by private jet, we handle the ground side. Warsaw has two airports with business aviation terminals, both a short drive away, and the car comes to the aircraft rather than waiting outside the terminal. The clinic also has a helipad, so a patient can fly the last leg without entering a public building.
Payment is by bank transfer in euro, before admission or in agreed instalments. Invoices can be issued to a private individual, a company or a family office, with the description of services at whatever level of detail the payer needs. We hold no contracts with insurers. Patients whose policy covers treatment abroad usually claim reimbursement afterwards, and we provide the documentation needed for that. Whether a policy covers treatment in another country is a question for the insurer, and it is better asked before admission than after.
