Mental Health Therapy - Inpatient Programme

Mental Health Therapy - Inpatient Programme
Mental health therapy is an integral part of inpatient treatment for individuals experiencing psychiatric disorders and co-occurring addictions. At Zeus Detox & Rehab, treatment is provided under inpatient conditions with attention to patient safety, individual diagnostics and medical supervision.
Part of our inpatient addiction therapy.
What is mental health therapy in clinical terms
Mental health therapy encompasses diagnostics, stabilisation and treatment of psychiatric conditions affecting emotional, cognitive and social functioning. In inpatient conditions it is possible to take a comprehensive approach to the patient, addressing both psychiatric and somatic aspects. Treatment is process-based and grounded in current assessment of the patient's mental health status and prevailing clinical standards.
When urgent medical attention is required
Urgent medical attention is required if a psychological crisis arises involving suicidal ideation, intent to self-harm, loss of contact with reality, symptoms of acute psychosis, severe disorientation, rapid escalation of anxiety or agitation, or a state in which the patient is unable to ensure their own safety. In any life-threatening situation, call 112 or 999 immediately.
When mental health therapy is indicated
Mental health therapy may be indicated in cases of persistent depressive or anxiety symptoms, post-traumatic disorders (PTSD), adjustment disorders and psychological crises, disorders co-occurring with addictions (dual diagnosis), and difficulties in emotional and social functioning requiring inpatient treatment. Each case requires individual clinical qualification.
Scope of mental health therapy
Inpatient treatment of depression including all clinical forms, from unipolar to treatment-resistant depression and depression co-occurring with addiction.
Integrated treatment of co-occurring addiction and psychiatric disorders in a single, coherent therapeutic model.
Treatment of generalised anxiety, panic disorder, social anxiety, phobias and mixed anxiety-depressive disorders.
Trauma-Related Disorder Treatment
Nervous system stabilisation and safe processing of traumatic experiences including PTSD and complex trauma.
Treatment of psychological decompensation following significant life changes, professional crises or prolonged stress.
Burnout and Chronic Stress Treatment
Medical inpatient treatment of occupational burnout and chronic stress with nervous system recovery.
Scope of treatment
The scope of treatment is determined individually and may include psychiatric and psychological diagnostics, individual psychotherapy, psychiatric support with pharmacotherapy where clinically indicated, and integrated treatment of co-occurring disorders.
Inpatient therapy and patient safety
Treatment in inpatient conditions enables continuous medical and nursing supervision, monitoring of the patient's mental state, rapid response to symptom deterioration and an ordered, safe therapeutic environment. Patient safety is the overriding element of the treatment process.
Mental health therapy and further treatment
Inpatient therapy is frequently a stage in a broader treatment process, enabling safe stabilisation, in-depth therapeutic work and preparation for further recovery. Following the inpatient stay, further forms of support are planned including continuation of outpatient psychotherapy, psychiatric care and coordination of further treatment. The scope of further management is determined individually.
For whom is mental health therapy intended
Therapy is indicated for individuals requiring intensive psychiatric treatment, patients with co-occurring disorders, and those in psychological crisis requiring stabilisation.
Therapy alone is not sufficient as the sole form of treatment without further care where this is indicated, or without prior medical qualification.
